The Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Volunteer Center/RSVP matches individuals with volunteer opportunities in over 160 nonprofit, private, and public organizations where people can make a positive impact in their communities.
We can help you find volunteer opportunities which fit your interests and skills. Giving any where from one to forty hours a week, volunteers make contributions of their time and talents in a variety of different ways:
- Delivering meals to homebound elderly
- Building houses for low income families
- Mentoring and tutoring young people
- Helping in food banks and homeless shelters
- Participating in community crime prevention programs
- Assisting in hospitals, nursing homes & hospice care centers
- Protecting fragile rivers and forests
- Teaching adults to read
