Opera Rescue was formed at the end of 2004 when two singers, Signe Mortensen and Sarah Mattox, searched to find a way to use their talents to help the victims of the devestating Tsunami in Asia.  In October 2005 a second concert for Hurricane Katrina relief was organized with a concert and masquerade ball in New Orleans style.  There will always be a need for benefit concerts and charity as the world braces itself for unexpected disasters.  Opera Rescue will be there raising its voice to help.
