Volunteer Change our community, one life at a time. Be a full or half time AmeriCorps Volunteer or help out once in a while. It's fun and it feels great! help people with developmental disabilities enjoy activitiees volunteer alongside an AmeriCorps Member prepare mailings run an arts and craft class read to children in grade school help a Senior to complete their graduation project

Please call or come by to learn more. For those volunteers working directly with clients, we will run background checks for everyone’s safety.

Donate If you have any items you think we might be able to use, please call Wendy at (360) 577-9093. We accept all kinds of gifts, from stocks to vehicles to land. Planned giving is also an option. Please call us to discuss how you can help our cause!
Easy Way to Help Us Donate old cell phones and used printer cartridges and we'll recycle them while we earn points toward equipment purchases. We accept all cell phones, even broken phones, and any inkjet or laser printer cartridges. Please call us if you would like us to pick them up, or bring them to Life Works' main office. We can then recycle the phones and cartridges and in turn receive funds to help offset costs. Money has been used to help fund events for people with developmental disabilities, replace aging tools, and sponsor staff appreciation events.
